Homboo facilitates a service, which allows Homboo customers (the “Users”) to buy a limited license, subject to the terms and conditions contained herein (the “License”), on architectural building plans (the “Products”) from architects that have registered and uploaded their products on Homboo (the “Architects”), using the Homboo.com website. Only registered Users and Architects can buy and sell on Homboo. Registration is free of charge.

Our Privacy Policy describes the way we use your personal information and the responsibilities that we have in the protection of your privacy. Our Privacy Policy is hereby included by reference into these Terms and Conditions of Use, so for more information, please review such Privacy Policy.

Please bear in mind that the products and architects information and specifications that are described on our website are provided solely for your reference. Therefore, we recommend to always check the product information and specifications before making purchases. For clarifications on the features of a product please contact us.

Information and specifications of products are only presented by Homboo as a reference and Homboo do not represent or warrant to provide accurate information.

Homboo reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account if false, outdated or inaccurate information has been provided or if Homboo may reasonably suspect that is the case.

The Architects, as applicable retain ownership and all intellectual property rights on the Products. When Homboo provides you with the purchased Products, you are thereby granted by the applicable Architect, subject to these Terms, a limited, non-exclusive License to use the Products to construct the building as depicted in the Products one time and one time only; and to modify and reproduce the Products solely to the extent required for purposes of satisfying your specific needs and/or to meet the requirements of local building codes, ordinances or regulations in completing.

The License is subject to the following restrictions, requirements and conditions:


The Products are not meant to be complete architectural plans for the construction of a building and they are provided for your reference only. For example, the Products may lack the description of certain systems which are essential for the operation of a building.

Homboo strongly recommends that, prior to beginning any construction, you have the Products reviewed and approved by an architect or engineer who is licensed in the jurisdiction in which you will be constructing your building. The review and approval of the Products by a locally licensed professional may be required under the laws of your jurisdiction.

It is your responsibility to: (1) ensure that all construction work based on the Products is performed in a workmanlike manner and in accordance with all applicable national, state, and local building codes, construction industry standards and other applicable laws; (2) ensure that you obtain the required permits and inspections to construct the building depicted in the Products; (3) verify the accuracy of the Products; (4) ensure that all materials, equipment and components used in the buildout are new and of good quality; (5) ensure that all contractors and subcontractors involved in the buildout maintain, sufficient liability and other insurance coverages with insurance companies licensed in the applicable locations.

All sales are final. No refund or exchanges shall be granted once orders have been processed.

Homboo does not offer shipping for physical plan sets; all house plan sets, customization works, and any other drawing-related services are exclusively available online. All products are sold in .PDF or .CAD formats and are delivered online. If you purchase a product without registering an account on Homboo’s website, we will send the product's receipt to the email you use for the purchase. The product itself is delivered as an attachment to the receipt email. If you use a registered account on Homboo for your purchase, the product is sent as an attachment to the email registered with the account. As a registered customer, you can also download the product directly from your Homboo account. For any delivery issues, please contact Homboo at sales@homboo.com.

All sales on Homboo TM, including services such as Plan Set Customization or Fit to Land, are final. No refunds or exchanges will be given once the order is placed and processed.

Users understand that content, materials, services, products and information presented by Homboo on the Website are not error and/or failure free. Hence users acknowledge, agree and consent to use the Website and the Products at their own risk. Homboo makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the Website, the Products or any other content hosted on the Website, which are provided on an “as is” or “as available” basis. Homboo reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, including without limitation, the right to: (1) select counsel of our choice to defend against any claims; and (2) to settle any claims, with or without prior notice to you.

You agree that any action at law or in equity that arises out of or relates to these Terms and Conditions of Use will be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami, Florida, and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action.

These Terms and Conditions of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions for the Use of Homboo’s Services (Architects), as they may be amended from time to time, constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us governing your use of the Website, and no other terms that may have been communicated to you orally or in any other manner shall have any force or effect.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may also be subject to additional terms and conditions that may apply when you use a particular site, affiliate services, third-party content or third-party software.
